Full job description

Special Education Teacher Contract providing 36 weeks of instruction in Brighton, CO. Supports students with diverse needs through individualized education plans and inclusive classroom practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality special education instruction for students with diverse abilities

  • Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to develop and implement individualized education programs

  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth

  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and progress

Qualifications:

  • CO Generalist special education teacher certification

  • Minimum 1 year experience with diverse student needs in a school setting

  • Valid certification and ability to work Tuesday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Successful background checks
