Full job description

Bilingual Special Education Teacher contract for 36 weeks in Boulder, Colorado. Provide instructional support to bilingual and diverse students while fostering an inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging instructional plans tailored to bilingual students.

  • Manage classroom activities to foster a supportive learning environment for diverse learners.

  • Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure student success and well-being.

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs, especially Multilingual Learners.

  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in team meetings to support educational outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of classroom teaching experience.

  • Degree in Education or related field.

  • Current CDE license or in process of obtaining one.

  • Ability to serve students identified as Multilingual Learners.

  • Background check required.

  • Soft skills include adaptability, teamwork, and communication.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
