Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Physical Therapists in executing individualized treatment plans designed to enhance patients' mobility, improve strength, and restore functionality.
• Guiding patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities while providing ongoing encouragement and support.
• Educating patients on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and the importance of adherence to their home exercise programs.
• Administering various modalities—such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy—under the direct supervision of the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Monitoring and recording patient progress, ensuring accurate tracking of improvements in range of motion, strength, and functionality.
• Preparing treatment environments by organizing necessary equipment and supplies, ensuring they are aligned with safety standards.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care that maximizes patient outcomes and facilitates comprehensive rehabilitation.
• Providing emotional and motivational support to patients, creating a nurturing and positive atmosphere during their therapeutic journeys.

Compensation and Benefits
