Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time opportunity at Lakeland Health & Fitness in vibrant Irvine, California. Work Environment
This full-time position is primarily based onsite within our modern hospital setting, where you will have access to advanced equipment and technology that facilitate high-quality therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in patient recovery by undertaking the following responsibilities:
- Administer and assist in implementing outpatient therapy services tailored to individual patient needs, specifically focused on recovery following orthopedic surgeries and management of chronic musculoskeletal disorders.
- Engage with patients suffering from a variety of injuries, pain issues, and movement challenges, providing hands-on support to enhance mobility and overall well-being.
- Collaborate with supervising physical therapists to create personalized care plans, emphasizing goals such as building strength, improving mobility, enhancing balance, and reducing pain.
- Maximize one-on-one interaction with patients, ensuring quality care is prioritized over volume, to achieve favorable health outcomes in accordance with best practices.
- Deliver therapy in various functional settings beyond the hospital, including patients’ homes, parks, and fitness centers, ensuring that sessions are practical, relevant, and aligned with real-world activities.
- Coordinate with a network of referring physicians, surgeons, and healthcare professionals to facilitate comprehensive and cohesive patient care.

Qualifications
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
