Balance Booster Rehab Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to enhance our dynamic outpatient orthopedic clinic in Pompano Beach, Florida. Work Environment

This position is onsite at our fully equipped outpatient clinic located within a hospital setting in Pompano Beach. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions and activities tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Provide hands-on treatment techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional mobility training.
  • Document patient progress and treatment efficacy, maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with established protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes and strategies they can use at home to further their recovery.
  • Maintain organization of treatment areas, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available and properly maintained.
  • Engage with patients positively, fostering a healing environment that encourages motivation and participation in their recovery plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our goal is to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and improve the overall quality of life for our patients. Providing compassionate care and actively listening to each patient's concerns will be key in supporting their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program from an accredited institution.
  • A current Florida PTA license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • A strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and physical therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.
  • Hands-on familiarity with therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation protocols.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
