Rebound Physical Therapy is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Victorville, California. Key Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your day-to-day functions will include:
- Assisting the Physical Therapist in developing and executing individualized treatment plans to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
- Conducting therapeutic exercises, guiding patients through stretches, activities, and modalities designed to promote physical health and alleviate pain.
- Educating patients about their conditions and the appropriate techniques for self-care and home exercise, ensuring they are active participants in their recovery.
- Administering therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Documenting treatment effectiveness and tracking patient progress, including improvements in range of motion and strength.
- Preparing and maintaining sanitized treatment areas and ensuring the necessary equipment and supplies are available for daily sessions.
- Working closely with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate coordinated care and enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
- Providing encouragement and emotional support to patients, instilling confidence during their rehabilitation process.
- Adhering to the ethical guidelines and maintaining a high standard of patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
