In this full-time position, you will work under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to provide essential therapeutic support to our patients. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients in implementing and navigating individualized physical therapy programs as directed by licensed Physical Therapists.
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, including strength training, range of motion activities, and manual therapy techniques, ensuring proper form and safety.
  • Monitor and document patient responses during therapy sessions, noting any changes in condition or progress that may inform ongoing treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on correct exercise techniques and injury prevention strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
  • Employ various therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy to facilitate patient comfort and progress.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough records in compliance with clinic standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring seamless communication with the rehabilitation team.
  • Work collaboratively with physical therapists and healthcare team members to provide cohesive and cohesive patient care while contributing to case discussions on patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as needed.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Nevada.
