Work Environment

This role is based in our outpatient office, where we maintain a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, with a schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; occasional flexibility may be required to address specific patient needs or clinic operations. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and functional independence.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities, ensuring they perform movements safely and effectively.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques, while providing them with tailored home exercise programs to accelerate their recovery process.
• Administer treatment modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Systematically monitor and document patient progress, focusing on metrics such as range of motion improvements, strength enhancements, and overall functional gains.
• Maintain organized treatment spaces and ensure the availability of necessary equipment and supplies for effective therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, to optimize patient care and achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Provide emotional encouragement and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation process, helping to create a motivating and positive environment.
• Uphold ethical standards and patient confidentiality in all aspects of care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Valid state certification or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.

• Proficiency in administering therapeutic exercises and modalities, working closely under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to develop rapport with patients and collaborate cohesively with the clinic's healthcare team.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt to various patient demographics and conditions, modifying treatment plans as necessary.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting will be advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and treatment documentation processes is a plus, as is ongoing involvement in continuing education.

Compensation and Benefits

Grand Health Care Clinic offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package inclusive of:
