Position Overview
The Grand Health Care Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional rehabilitation services. Work Environment
This role is based in our outpatient office, where we maintain a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, with a schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; occasional flexibility may be required to address specific patient needs or clinic operations. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic technology to support your efforts in providing quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and functional independence.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities, ensuring they perform movements safely and effectively.
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques, while providing them with tailored home exercise programs to accelerate their recovery process.
- Administer treatment modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
- Systematically monitor and document patient progress, focusing on metrics such as range of motion improvements, strength enhancements, and overall functional gains.
- Maintain organized treatment spaces and ensure the availability of necessary equipment and supplies for effective therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, to optimize patient care and achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Provide emotional encouragement and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation process, helping to create a motivating and positive environment.
- Uphold ethical standards and patient confidentiality in all aspects of care delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
- Valid state certification or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.

- Proficiency in administering therapeutic exercises and modalities, working closely under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.

Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting will be advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and treatment documentation processes is a plus, as is ongoing involvement in continuing education.
Compensation and Benefits
Grand Health Care Clinic offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package inclusive of:
