Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

  • Delivering hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and mobility training to facilitate patient recovery.

  • Monitoring and documenting patient progress, reporting updates and necessary modifications to supervising Physical Therapists in real-time.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely entries in electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with all documentation requirements.
  • Ensuring the physical and emotional safety of patients during treatment sessions, addressing concerns and modifying approaches as necessary.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans that foster positive patient outcomes.
  • Providing education to patients and their families about home exercise programs and recovery strategies to enhance rehabilitation results.
