Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your primary duties will include:

• Assisting licensed Physical Therapists in preparing and implementing individualized patient care plans.
• Administering therapeutic exercises and treatment modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Monitoring patients’ progress and documenting treatment sessions using point-of-service documentation technology, including iPads.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals and communicating effectively with patients and their families regarding therapy goals and progress.
• Participating in patient assessments and providing input for the development of treatment strategies.
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring cleanliness within therapy areas to adhere to health and safety standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including elderly individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing compassionate care tailored to their needs, focusing on enhancing their functional abilities and quality of life. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
