Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Registered Physical Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Conduct regular assessments of patients' physical capabilities, documenting progress and reporting findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, ensuring the correct techniques are applied and adjusting as needed for safety and efficacy.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to design and adjust treatment approaches, contributing to interdisciplinary discussions to enhance patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and wellness practices that promote recovery and prevent further injury.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. You will work closely with individuals of varying ages and abilities, including seniors recovering from hip replacements and athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries. We emphasize personalized care plans to accommodate the diverse needs and goals of our patient population.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure and certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Nevada.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Empathetic patient care skills with a commitment to enhancing patient well-being and independence.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
