Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Physical Therapists in the execution of individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality.

  • Provide education to patients and their families about exercise techniques, body mechanics, and home exercise programs to foster a comprehensive understanding of their rehabilitation process.
  • Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation and therapeutic ultrasound, while closely monitoring patient responses under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Document and track patient progress meticulously, noting enhancements in range of motion, muscle strength, and functional abilities to inform ongoing treatment strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain treatment spaces, ensuring equipment is sterilized and readily arranged for therapy sessions, thus establishing a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Occupational and Speech Therapists, to coordinate optimal care for patients.
