Position Overview
Senior Flex Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to become an integral part of our rehabilitation team. In this full-time position, you will work collaboratively with licensed Physical Therapists to ensure our patients receive effective treatment plans tailored to their specific recovery needs. This is an onsite role within a hospital setting where teamwork and collaboration are paramount. In this dynamic atmosphere, you will engage with a variety of patients, ranging from post-surgery individuals to those managing chronic conditions, ensuring a diverse and fulfilling case load.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement therapy treatments and interventions under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists, following established care plans to facilitate patient recovery.
- Continuously assess and monitor patients’ progress, noting any significant changes in their condition and promptly communicating these observations to the supervising PT.
- Accurately document each therapy session in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
- Provide education and motivation to patients during therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities to promote their engagement in the recovery process.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment by ensuring that all equipment is clean, functional, and adequately set up before use.
- Work closely with the clinical team to create a seamless flow of patient care, enhancing the overall treatment experience.

Qualifications
- Active California PTA license is required.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
