Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting initial and ongoing assessments of patient needs under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Implement treatment plans designed by the physical therapist, using therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance patient recovery.
- Monitor patient progress, documenting all treatment sessions and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families about exercises and techniques that can be employed at home to encourage ongoing recovery.
- Engage in continual collaboration with the therapy team to discuss patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the therapy areas, ensuring that equipment and tools are prepared for each session.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Seaport Orthopedic PT, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Compensation and Benefits
