Position Overview

Strive Force Physical Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our esteemed team located in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately, noting changes in their condition and response to various therapy techniques.
• Educate patients on home exercise regimens, ensuring they understand the proper techniques for maximizing recovery.
• Communicate effectively with supervising PTs regarding patient status, challenges, and progress towards rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a safe, clean clinical environment, promoting best practices in health and safety.
• Encourage and motivate patients, fostering a positive atmosphere that promotes healing and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, such as joint replacements and rotator cuff repairs, as well as those managing chronic conditions like arthritis or sports-related injuries. As a PTA, you will play a crucial role in rehabilitating these patients, employing therapeutic exercises and manual techniques to facilitate their recovery.

Qualifications

• Active Florida licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• A commitment to orthopedic physical therapy with methods grounded in current best practices.
• Strong skills in therapeutic exercise and manual therapy techniques.
• A compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on creating a positive patient experience.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years’ experience in an orthopedic setting, actively assisting with treatment plans for a diverse patient group.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.
