Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Implement structured treatment plans developed by supervising Physical Therapists, facilitating a range of rehabilitation exercises tailored to individual patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress throughout the treatment plan, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication of findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Maintain treatment areas with cleanliness and organization, including ensuring that all equipment is properly sanitized and ready for use.
- Assist with the scheduling of patient appointments and provide administrative support as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patient functional movement, balance, and coordination, and adjust treatment protocols as indicated by observations.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your role as a PTA is essential in creating a welcoming and motivating environment, encouraging patients to reach their rehabilitation goals effectively. With a manageable caseload of 1-2 patients per hour, you have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide personalized care to each individual.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance is required.
- Candidates must hold an active PTA license in Florida.
- Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to engage positively with patients and their families.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is highly favorable.
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques is essential to enhance patient care.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, providing a solid understanding of patient dynamics and treatment modalities.
- Experience working with various orthopedic conditions and rehabilitation protocols is advantageous.

This full-time PTA position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 70,000 .
