Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team at the Inspire To Achieve Physical Therapy facility located in beautiful Jensen Beach, Florida. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to provide hands-on patient care in an orthopedic outpatient setting, working collaboratively with licensed Physical Therapists to enhance rehabilitation outcomes for our patients.

Work Environment

The work schedule consists of five days a week, with flexible options available for those wishing to work four 10-hour shifts. Weekends are free, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing Physical Therapist-directed treatment plans to facilitate rehabilitation goals.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care strategies as needed, and regularly communicating updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Prepare treatment areas, ensuring all equipment is properly set up and maintained for safety and effectiveness.
- Support patient scheduling and manage administrative tasks to enhance overall clinic operations.
- Conduct functional movement, balance, and coordination assessments to tailor individual treatment plans.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The PTA will work primarily with adult patients undergoing rehabilitation for various orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain management. Delivering compassionate, patient-centered care is integral to our practice philosophy, ensuring each individual feels valued and understood throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Qualifications
- Completion of an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Florida.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription tailored to diverse patient needs.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure clear dialogue with patients and team members.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT or similar platforms.
- Experience in developing and leading rehabilitation exercise plans for varied patient demographics.
- Additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques (e.g., dry needling, myofascial release) are a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
This role offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 60,000 – 70,000 , commensurate with experience.
