Position Overview

The Progressive Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role in our vibrant outpatient orthopedic clinic located in Jensen Beach, Florida. Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and follow individualized treatment programs designed by supervising physical therapists.
  • Monitor, measure, and document patient progress to ensure the effectiveness of therapy interventions.
  • Assist in instructing patients on proper exercise techniques and equipment use to ensure safety and comfort.
  • Maintain an organized and hygienic therapy environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team assessments to evaluate patient coordination and mobility limitations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to foster understanding and compliance with treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The PTA will primarily work with diverse outpatient orthopedic patients, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals rehabilitating post-surgery. Qualifications

  • Current PTA license in Florida, demonstrating compliance with state regulations.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient therapeutic setting, specifically in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to 70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
