Fitness Quest Physical Health Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at our hospital facility in Stuart, Florida. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in collaborating with licensed Physical Therapists to facilitate patient rehabilitation, guiding individuals through exercises and therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring mobility and improving overall functional abilities. Key Responsibilities
- Implement and execute personalized treatment plans as developed by supervising Physical Therapists for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions.
- Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to aid recovery, ensuring exercises are performed safely and effectively.
- Track and document detailed patient progress and responses to therapy using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT, actively communicating updates and adjustments to treatment plans with the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Prepare treatment areas and maintain equipment to ensure a clean and organized environment that adheres to safety standards, setting up modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation as required.
- Assist with patient scheduling, intake assessments, and overall clinic operations to ensure a seamless flow of patient care.
- Conduct evaluations focusing on balance, coordination, and functional movement as necessary to help tailor treatment strategies.

Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Florida.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.

- Proficient in using EMR systems such as WebPT for patient documentation and management.
- Strong communication skills, enabling effective education and engagement with patients regarding their treatment progression.

- Experience working in a high-volume outpatient orthopedic facility.

Compensation and Benefits
