Position Overview
Seaport Orthopedic PT is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist to identify specific rehabilitation needs and backgrounds.
- Assist in developing and executing personalized treatment plans designed to promote recovery following surgeries, injuries, or debilitating conditions.
- Implement therapeutic interventions, including individual exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques to enhance strength, mobility, and functionality.
- Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment plans in real-time as necessary, and document all findings diligently to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic protocols, proactive self-care techniques, and strategies to facilitate continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
- Collaborate side-by-side with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and ensure continuity and quality of treatment.
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment for both staff and patients.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will work with a diverse patient base that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain, among others. Your work will significantly impact each patient's ability to regain independence and improve their quality of life. Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Florida.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to maintaining a patient-centered approach to care, focusing on individual needs and recovery outcomes.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience working in a hospital or outpatient orthopedic practice is highly preferred, providing a foundation for understanding varied patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
