Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of customized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, collaborating with physical therapists to assess and modify therapies as necessary.
- Provide direct patient care, which includes administering therapeutic exercises, performing manual therapy techniques, and utilizing modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold therapy.
- Monitor patient progress, ensuring detailed documentation and sharing findings with the therapy team to adapt care plans based on individual responsiveness and recovery trajectory.
- Educate patients and their families about appropriate therapeutic exercises, at-home care, and preventive strategies to foster independence and reduce the risk of future injuries.
- Work in tandem with the multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists and rehabilitation nurses, to coordinate and optimize patient care effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and a clean, organized work environment that prioritizes patient well-being.
- Maintain comprehensive and timely records of patient care activities while upholding confidentiality and adhering to healthcare standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will primarily care for patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from an accredited program, ensuring a strong foundation in physical therapy principles and practices.
- A valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Florida, demonstrating compliance with state regulations and standards.

Compensation and Benefits
Phyxable PT LLC offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
