Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in executing comprehensive treatment plans to support patient recovery, including developing exercise routines and employing therapeutic modalities.
• Provide direct patient care through hands-on therapy sessions, focusing on functional mobility and promoting independence.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously in therapy records, ensuring all data is updated in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, providing clear instruction and guidance on exercises designed for at-home practice.
• Collaborate effectively with the wider healthcare team, including occupational therapists and physicians, to contribute to cohesive patient care strategies.
• Utilize specialized techniques, such as trigger point therapy, as part of treatment interventions when clinically indicated.
• Engage in occupational health initiatives, promoting workplace ergonomics and preventative strategies as part of community outreach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will serve a diverse clientele, including pediatric and geriatric patients with conditions ranging from sports injuries to post-surgical recovery. Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits
