Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment programs for a diverse range of patients.
  • Provide direct support through hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises and modalities, under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Educate patients and their families about exercises and self-care strategies to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment sessions and patient responses.
  • Engage in collaborative discussions with the healthcare team to develop holistic care strategies and improve patient health outcomes.
  • Implement trigger point therapy techniques as indicated to effectively address patients' pain and discomfort.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapy Assistant will interact with a wide array of patients, ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations. You will encounter individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, and rehabilitating from injuries. Qualifications

  • A completed Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant studies.

Compensation and Benefits
