Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your work will be with orthopedic patients recovering from various musculoskeletal injuries and surgeries. You will engage with a diverse client base, including athletes aiming to return to peak performance and older adults seeking improved mobility and reduced pain. Your role is vital in supporting these individuals through physically demanding rehabilitation regimens.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • A valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of California.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to document patient care effectively.
  • Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and a passion for patient care.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with specialized orthopedic rehabilitation techniques, including but not limited to post-surgical recovery and sports rehabilitation.
  • Familiarity with patient education regarding treatment options and self-management strategies.
