Position Overview
Rebound Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role in Mc David, Florida. In this position, you will play an essential role in enhancing the rehabilitation journey of patients by collaborating with Physical Therapists to implement tailored therapeutic treatment plans. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient recovery, promoting mobility and improved quality of life.

Work Environment
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work onsite in a hospital setting, ensuring close cooperation with a multidisciplinary team. The working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate patient needs and facilitate clinic operations. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to assist in implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patient mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities, ensuring they are performed correctly to maximize effectiveness.
- Educate patients on maintaining proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise regimens that will support their recovery journey.
- Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapies, strictly under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress by tracking range of motion, strength improvements, and functional enhancements, ensuring accurate records for ongoing assessments.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring that all equipment and therapy supplies are organized and readily available for each session.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to streamline patient care and optimize recovery outcomes.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process, promoting a positive and motivating therapy environment.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in every interaction, maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting their rights throughout treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from children requiring pediatric rehabilitation to seniors navigating geriatric challenges. Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state licensing or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

- Demonstrable proficiency in executing therapeutic exercises and modalities, with guidance from a licensed Physical Therapist.

Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 to 65,000 per year.
