Position Overview
Pro Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our thriving rehabilitation clinic located in Woodbridge, New Jersey. As a PTA working full-time in this vital role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality patient care. Work Environment
This full-time position is based onsite at our medical facility in a hospital setting. Our clinic fosters a collaborative atmosphere where health professionals work together in a supportive and innovative environment. You will collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient treatment. The typical working schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to meet the needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in executing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
- Guide patients through specific therapeutic exercises and stretches, encouraging proper technique and movement.
- Provide education to patients regarding body mechanics, exercise methods, and home exercise programs designed to facilitate ongoing recovery.
- Administer therapeutic modalities including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and thermal therapies under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in strength, range of motion, and functional capabilities.
- Prepare treatment areas, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are in place for efficient therapy sessions.
- Engage with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimized patient outcomes.
- Offer emotional support to patients, fostering a motivating environment that encourages recovery.
- Uphold ethical and professional standards by maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting individual rights.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

- Proficient in assisting with therapeutic exercises and various modalities under a licensed Physical Therapist's guidance.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
