Work Environment

The position is based onsite in a hospital facility in the vibrant city of Boca Raton, Florida. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in executing individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions prescribed to patients recovering from injuries or surgeries.

  • Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities, ensuring each treatment session aligns with the therapist’s directives and institutional protocols.

  • Systematically monitor and document patient progress, including improvements and setbacks, which will inform ongoing treatment decisions.

  • Educate patients and their families regarding exercise techniques, self-care options, and strategies to enhance recovery, thus fostering a deeper understanding of their health management.

  • Maintain meticulous patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy during documentation processes.

  • Support administrative functions such as scheduling appointments, handling patient intake, and assisting in front desk operations, ensuring smooth workflow and patient experience.

  • Ensure all rehabilitation equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and in good working condition to facilitate safe and effective therapy sessions.
