Work Environment
This full-time position requires you to work onsite in a vibrant outpatient hospital setting, where you will engage with a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed therapeutic exercises and interventions, ensuring that sessions are effective and aligned with patient-specific treatment plans devised by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Conduct mobility training sessions and gait analyses to enhance patients’ functional abilities, enabling them to navigate day-to-day activities with confidence.
- Provide hands-on manual therapy techniques and utilize various therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, while adhering to safety and clinical guidelines.
- Monitor and document patients’ progress meticulously, ensuring that evaluations clearly reflect their responses to treatments and any adjustments that may be required in their rehabilitation plan.
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team, including Physical Therapists, physicians, and rehabilitation specialists, to optimize patient outcomes and facilitate comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs and post-therapy recovery strategies to empower them in their healing journey.
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with clinic protocols and relevant health regulations, ensuring compliance with legal standards and best practices.
