Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Physical Therapist to implement and adjust patient treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient progress.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering therapeutic exercises, modalities, and functional training under the direction of the supervising therapist.
  • Conduct detailed assessments and chart reviews to ensure accuracy in the documentation of patient progress and treatment adjustments.
  • Employ knowledge of therapeutic procedures, demonstrating proficient use of various modalities including electrotherapy, ultrasound, and manual therapy techniques.
  • Educate patients and their families about therapy goals and techniques, ensuring understanding and compliance with home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within our electronic health record system, following all legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and maintain a safe and welcoming clinic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus includes treating patients with orthopedic conditions ranging from post-surgery recovery, sports injuries, to chronic pain management. The PTA will work with a varied patient population, including young athletes seeking rehabilitation, adults recovering from surgeries, and older adults coping with age-related musculoskeletal issues. Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
  • Possession of a current and active PTA license in California.

Compensation and Benefits
