Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team at Consonus Physical Therapy in Las Vegas, Nevada. Key Responsibilities
- Assist registered Physical Therapists in implementing personalized treatment plans and rehabilitation programs for patients.
- Administer routine therapy procedures, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities as prescribed.
- Carefully observe patients during treatments, recording their responses, progress, and any changes in their conditions, and communicating these findings to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and the effective progression of patients' rehabilitation goals.
- Support patient education initiatives by guiding patients through exercises and educating them on their rehabilitation processes.
- Contribute to a safe and supportive environment by ensuring cleanliness and organization of therapy spaces and equipment.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will primarily engage with adult patients dealing with orthopedic issues and chronic pain conditions. Your contributions help diverse individuals return to their daily activities by promoting strength, mobility, and overall health. You will be involved in a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to patients facing different types of physical challenges.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program is required.
- Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Nevada, or eligibility to apply.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- A strong commitment to patient-centered care and a desire to foster a positive rehabilitation experience.
Preferred Experience
- At least two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant, particularly in a hospital or clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits
