Work Environment
This position is primarily onsite in our well-equipped hospital facility, which features modern rehabilitation spaces designed for both individual and group therapy sessions. The work schedule spans Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a consistent workflow and a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of Physical Therapist-directed treatment plans, ensuring that patients are guided through therapeutic exercises safely and effectively.
- Consistently monitor and document patient progress, providing comprehensive updates to supervising Physical Therapists for fine-tuning treatment approaches.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is properly utilized and sanitized to adhere to best practices in infection control.
- Provide administrative support by assisting with appointment scheduling and maintaining patient records, often using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
- Conduct assessments of functional movement, balance, and coordination to evaluate patient capabilities and restrictions, which aids in tailored treatment planning.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Physical Therapist Assistant in our outpatient clinic, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, joint replacements, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. You will provide care that not only addresses physical rehabilitation but also involves educating patients on self-management strategies to foster long-term wellness. Qualifications
- Completion of an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits
