Position Overview
Royal Heights Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our compassionate healthcare team in Boulder City, Nevada. In this full-time position, the PTA will be integral in supporting our patients on their journey to recovery by implementing prescribed treatment plans and collaborating with our licensed Physical Therapists. Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and modalities tailored to each patient’s individual plan of care.
- Provide hands-on support during patient activities, ensuring proper technique in mobility training, functional exercises, and daily living tasks.
- Carefully monitor and document patients’ progress, reporting observations and feedback to the supervising Physical Therapist to adapt treatment plans as necessary.
- Empower patients by educating them on the correct use of assistive devices, prescribed exercises, and self-care strategies to encourage independent living.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient treatments and outcomes in compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout therapy sessions, addressing any concerns and adjusting interventions based on their immediate needs.
- Actively participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies, progress, and any required adjustments.
- Help with the daily operations of the clinic, which includes maintaining a clean and organized treatment space, setting up equipment, and ensuring readiness for the day’s therapies.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear explanations of care plans and expected outcomes.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work with diverse patient populations including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation. The patients at Royal Heights Rehabilitation Center range from young athletes to elderly individuals, each with unique rehabilitation needs and goals.
Qualifications
- Completed an Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current or eligible for licensure as a PTA in the state of Nevada.
- Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, treatment modalities, and methodologies for improving functional movement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with patients, families, and the clinical team.
- Ability to function independently under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to delivering care.
- Experience working with a variety of patient demographics is beneficial.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly in rehabilitation services, is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
Royal Heights Rehabilitation Center offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $90,000 , commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
